Our Verdict
I recently took the Sofirn SP36 Pro out for a series of night hikes to see if its 8000-lumen output actually holds up in real-world conditions. This compact torch utilizes four SST40 LEDs to create a massive wall of light that makes traditional flashlights look like mere toys.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality of the SP36 Pro is exceptionally robust, featuring a solid metal chassis that feels substantial and reliable in the hand. The thermal management is well-engineered to handle the heat generated by the four LEDs, ensuring that the device remains durable during extended use.
Day-to-Day Experience
Using the SP36 Pro is straightforward thanks to the convenient USB-C charging port, which eliminates the need for bulky external chargers. While it is incredibly bright, the learning curve is minimal, making it accessible even if you are not a flashlight enthusiast.
This is the ideal companion for serious campers, night-shift workers, or anyone who wants the brightest possible light in a relatively portable package.
Final Thoughts
The Sofirn SP36 Pro sets a high bar for power and portability in 2026. With a stellar 4.95/5 rating at the $99.00 price point, it is easily one of the best investments for your gear collection.
